Seventy-eight nations participated in the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, officially known as XIX Olympic Winter Games. From both the standpoint of sports and business, this was one of the most successful Winter Olympiads in history. Records were set in broadcasting and marketing programs, with over 2 billion viewers watching over 13 billion hours of coverage. Catapult Design Director, Adrian Pulfer, led the development of the bid book for the Olympic Committee. The book is a tactile experience handcrafted by local artists with materials distinctive to the region. This visually stunning presentation even had the essence of the pine needles used in producing the handmade paper.
