Catapult is a humanistic organization that is not affiliated with any particular religion. However, the United Church of Christ asked Catapult Commercial Director, Rick Rabe, to produce a commercial to encourage inclusiveness. Despite this humanistic message of universal acceptance, this commercial was deemed too progressive and was rejected by ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox. Undeterred, the Church ran the commercial on CNN, USA, TNT, BET, and eleven other networks.
